Occoquan Lights

Occoquan Lights is a program designed to help foster joy during the winter season by encouraging homes and businesses in the Town of Occoquan to decorate the exteriors of their buildings for the winter holiday season.  A collaboration between the Town and Occoquan Radio inspired by the popular Lewes Lights program of Lewes, Delaware, Occoquan Lights encourage visitors and townspeople to download maps of decorated homes and businesses and vote for their favorite ones within the five (5) award categories of "A White and Green Holiday", "Multicolored Lights/Traditional /Vintage", "A Character Christmas", "A Griswold Christmas", and a category for businesses only.  For more information on each category, click here.

Voting begins December 11, and will run through December 22 (click here to vote).  Participation is free.  To be included on the map for voting, homeowners and businesses should register by clicking here and filling out the required information (by December 5).  You need not participate in the award categories to register your home or business; you can register just for fun!

We hope you'll consider participating in this inaugural year of Occoquan Lights!
